PLEASE READ THESE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES. PROPOSALS SUBMITTED ANY OTHER WAY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Thank you for your interest in the Hyde Park Jazz Festival. The 2018 Festival will take place September 29 and 30, 2018. The artistic direction and programming of the festival is a complex activity with many factors involved. A small portion of our programs will be determined from submitted proposals. If you wish to submit a proposal we ask that you please use the following guidelines:
- Please send a brief description, website, and work sample via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- If you have upcoming performance dates not on your website, we invite you to include that information in your submission.
- We very much appreciate online work samples rather than CDs. If you must send a CD, please send it to Hyde Park Jazz Festival, 1155 E. 60th Street, #314, Chicago, IL 60637.
- We conclude booking by March 31st. We review applications between January 2 and February 28.
You will receive a confirmation of receipt from us when you submit your materials. Please understand that we are unable to guarantee other correspondences. We do our best to communicate with everyone but if you do not hear from us, it is because we cannot accommodate your ensemble at this time. You do not need to followup.
