CLIF WALLACE

From his birthplace in Indiana to locations across the Midwest, south, and east coast, Clif Wallace has called a number of places home. Now a resident of Chicago, he has become one of the city’s most in-demand drummers.

Known for his versatility, Wallace performs in many genres. In his latest project, he leads a trio that pairs original compositions with hip arrangements of music that represents nostalgic events from his personal life. He also leads his own quintet and other groups as a band leader and producer.

Wallace has performed with Victor Goines, Tammy McCann, Bobby Broom, Pharez Whitted, The Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Rodney Whitaker, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Diego Rivera, Robert Irving III, Marquis Hill, Dan Trudell, John Brown, Orbert Davis, and others.

The musicians:

Justin Dillard - keyboards

Ivan Taylor - bass

Jackson Shepherd - guitar
