Those who had already experienced the elixir of her sound weren’t surprised when TIA FULLER was selected to be a member of the all-female band touring with R&B star, Beyoncé. As part of the I Am... Sasha Fierce and Beyoncé Experience world tours, Fuller has played throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia, and been a featured soloist on the Beyoncé Experience DVD; on several major television shows including the BET Awards, American Music Awards, and Grammy Awards; and in performance for President Obama at the White House. She has toured with a number of other performers as well, including Erykah Badu, Janelle Monáe, and Aretha Franklin.

In her own right, Fuller has been celebrated as an important jazz voice. She has been featured on the cover of Saxophone Today, Jazz Education Journal, Downbeat, and JazzTimes Magazine. She has received numerous awards and marks of distinction, including Downbeat Critics’ Poll for ‘Rising Star’—two years in a row—for soprano sax, alto sax, and flute. Her quartet has performed worldwide, including at Lincoln Center’s prestigious Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola.

Fuller has recently released her fifth trio recording, Diamond Cut—an album she considers to be a landmark chapter in her artistic journey—featuring Jack Dejohnette and Dave Holland. In addition to her work as a touring artist, Fuller is a professor at the Berklee College of Music.
