SHARON M. SAMUELS is a Chicago-based architect and designer with more than fifteen years of professional experience. In 2008, she launched SolQuest Design Unlimited, a full-service architecture and design firm. The firm’s work was recently featured in the short film Inside the Box: The Story of Boxville, which was a finalist in the I Look Up Film Challenge. Samuels has been featured in various publications including Architect Magazine and Crain’s Chicago Business.

Samuels is also a passionate educator. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College Chicago, and as a visiting professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Samuels has been a long-time volunteer, speaker, and instructor at the Chicago Architecture Foundation, in support of their education initiatives to engage teens in design-based thinking and design-focused careers.

In the past few years, Samuels’ work has expanded into film, television, and stage, where she has worked as a set and stage designer, as well as a production assistant.
